FAQ: How to Enable/Disable Two-Factor Authentication

To enable two-factor authentication for your United Domains account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your United Domains account
  2. Click your name in the top-right corner of the page, and select Account from the drop-down menu
  3. Click the Security tab
  4. Navigate to Two-Factor Authentication and click Enable. You will be walked through the activation process from there

When activated, your two-factor authentication status in your account’s Security area will appear as “Active”.

To disable two-factor authentication for your United Domains account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your United Domains account
  2. Click on your name in the top-right right corner of the page, and select Account from the drop-down menu
  3. Click the Security tab
  4. Click the red button labelled “Disable two-factor authentication” and follow the instructions to complete deactivation
